Why Choose Us?
Vivan Arts was started in the year of 2014 to offer wonderful hand-painted Portraits that can be handed down from generation to generation.
Our Artists are not many in numbers very few real talented & trained to provide beautiful Original Oil Portraits, at prices not customary to the Original Oil Portrait market.
In market there are oil Portraits at which are computer generated, and "re-touched" to look, original, Some actually use a computer operated "digital painter" to simulate an Original Oil Portrait.
Vivan arts offers 100% Hand-Painted Original Oil Portraits of your children, parents, grandparents, weddings, any objects or sight at very affordable prices, and available in just 04-06 weeks.
Our Services
99% of our Portraits use light colored background so that the subject will be more eye-catching. Normally our artists will use the perfect background according to the subjects, we will not use the background in the photograph, In case the background has some meaning to the Portrait then YES!! we add values to the overall look of the Portrait. We also understand, there is occasionally something in the background you wish you could remove. No worries, as you can, if it is simple and easy to explain.
We often receive Old Black and White Photos from the past. Generally for such orders we will tale input from the customer on colorization blemishes & eye color etc., we can paint you a wonderful Portrait with a great look and it will definitely be a great way to preserve the past. We can either paint the Portrait as a Black & White, or we can colorize the Portrait.
Museum Wrapping refers to how the canvas is stretched, before it is framed. Normally all portrait makers stretch the canvas at the final stage just before it is packed.. But at Vivan Arts stretching is done at the initial stage so that there will not be any stretch marks in the portrait. Our Artist carry the background color around the edge of the canvas, so that framing will also be easy. Also this allows, some of the less formal Portraits, you may not need to frame them. After thorough inspection, all Museum wrapping (stretching), is done in our Studio in Chennai. Once stretching is complete, a hardback cardboard covers the back of each Portrait.
This refers to how the canvas is stretched & pasted to the base of the portrait, before it is framed. We choose to use 1st quality plywood. We have the Artist carry the background color around the edge of the canvas, and then the edges are covered inside the frames. What this allows, is that canvas will not loose its temper @ any point of time since it is completely attached to the base. After thorough inspection, all Laminations are done in the studio with trained carpenters.
