What We Offer

Oil Paintings

In Vivan arts top-grade brushes are made in two types “red sable” and “bleached hog bristles” in different sizes are widely used for the smoother, less robust type of brushstroke. The painting knife, a finely tempered, thin, limber version of the artist’s palette knife, is a convenient tool for applying oil colours in a robust manner. The standard support for oil painting is a canvas made of pure European linen of strong close weave. This canvas is cut to the desired size and stretched over a frame, usually wooden, to which it is secured by tacks or by staples.

Characters Painting

The specialization of Vivan arts is character painting. When it comes to portraits, Character portraits can be very powerful art pieces when done right and hopefully this gives you all the tools to do just that! The possibility of drawing people and capturing their likeness, whether it is a certain gesture they have or just the interesting planes of a model's face, at the same time this is no easy task! Character Painting is painting a portrait from life and capture a model's character through their facial expression and body position.

Acrylic Painting

Painting with acrylics would say that the medium offers advantages that distinguish it from both oil and watercolor. On one hand, acrylics are permanent and do not yellow with age but, being water-soluble, they are fast drying like watercolors and require no harsh solvents for dilution or cleaning. Acrylic paints also dry insoluble and remain flexible when they dry, as opposed to oils, which have a much more brittle surface. Disadvantages involve the fact that acrylics do dry quickly, reducing the amount of time one can mix and manipulate the wet paint.

Mural Painting

Mural painting is inherently different from all other forms of pictorial art in that it is organically connected with architecture. The use of colour, design, and thematic treatment can radically alter the sensation of spatial proportions of the building. In this sense, mural is the only form of painting that is truly three-dimensional, since it modifies and partakes of a given space.
